About Mooresville, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Situated in Brown Township, Morgan County, Indiana, Mooresville is a town that combines small-town charm and community values with large city convenience and amenities.  With an estimated population of more than 9,500 residents, Mooresville lies about 10 miles southwest of the city of Indianapolis and is becoming the new home of many families and businesses.

In 1824, Samuel Moore, one of the first settlers in the area, laid out plans for the land he purchased in 1823. After naming the town Mooresville, he set aside 16 lots within four 5-acre blocks and these were only handed out to desirable citizens. The first cabin in the town was built by Asa Bales, and soon a frame building was constructed by Mr. Moore from where he sold his merchandise.

Alexander Worth & Company established a second store in 1826, and constructed a woolen mill that employed a number of people and manufactured cloth for the residents. In 1828, the first school of the community was set up in Mr. Moore’s store. The population of Mooresville grew to 200 residents by 1831 and the town was finally incorporated in 1838.

During the 1900’s, the population had grown up to 2,000 and is close to 10,000 as of today. Fast forward to present times, the town is home to a number of parks and shelters that offer a variety of recreational opportunities. There is also a variety of shopping and retail outlets available to suit almost every taste and budget.

The real estate is some of the newest in the region and considering the town’s central location - as neighboring communities from all sides surround it - it doesn’t come as a surprise that more and more people are moving to Mooresville.  The Indiana State Road 144, Indiana State Road 67 and Indiana State Road serve the town, which makes commuting easy. When it comes to education, the town houses five elementary schools, a middle school and a high school.

Mooresville receives 40 inches of rainfall and 24 inches of snowfall per year. Since the average high in the summer months is around 85 degrees, a proper air conditioning system is essential to make it through the blistering heat. Additionally, with the mercury dropping as low as 19 degrees in the winter months, installing a heat pump is recommended to keep you and your family warm.
