About Lawrence, IN - Happy to be your hometown Heating & Air Conditioning Contractor!

Situated in Marion County, Indiana, Lawrence is an excluded city with an estimated population of more than 47,000 residents. Lying just minutes from downtown Indianapolis, it is made up of eight constituent neighborhoods and is the 18th largest community in the state of Indiana with the workforce employed in both white and blue-collar jobs.

Lawrence was originally laid out and platted as “Lanesville” in 1849. However, the village was soon renamed to Lawrence 1896, as there was already another Lanesville located in Indiana.  In 1929, after a vote, the village was officially made a town. During the 1940s and 1950s, the population rose to over 7,600 residents as more and more people realized the benefits of living in a small town with big city amenities.

As of today, not only is the city one of the 22 industrial sub-markets within the Indianapolis metropolitan area, but also one of the fastest-growing, multi-cultural communities just northeast of the city of Indianapolis. It is home to some of the newest real estate, low taxes, quality schooling system, and well-developed neighborhoods, and most importantly, a friendly environment, making it the ideal place to live, play, work and raise a family.

While most of the residents are hardworking folks, let’s face it - everyone needs some to sit back and relax! For this, the city government has constructed several lush green parks, fun playgrounds that provide high-quality sports facilities and convenient rental spaces located throughout the city - all of this is managed by Lawrence’s Parks and Recreational Department!

In addition to these facilities, there are also a number of family-friendly events that occur annually with the “Fourth Fest” on every Independence Day being the most prominent. As far as schooling is concerned, the Metropolitan School District of Lawrence Township - and other surrounding school districts - serves the students across the city.

Lawrence gets 34 inches of rainfall and 28 inches of snowfall per year. With the average high in the summer around 84 degrees, it’s recommended that you install a reliable air conditioning system to maintain the perfect environment within your home. Moreover, as the mercury drops as low as 18 in the winter, you should consider investing in a heat pump (if you haven’t already) which operates at low temperatures and keeps your home warm throughout those cold days of winter.
